More couples are getting married later in life and so have no need for the usual wedding presents such as cutlery sets and ironing boards. Instead they want a honeymoon to remember.
Now you can offer them the opportunity to ask their friends and family to contribute towards the cost of their honeymoon rather than have a wedding gift list.

Well it’s a more common theme now for weddings – just type “honeymoon gift list” into Google and see what’s already out there.
Why not just send honeymooners to another site offering this?
If you have a honeymoon gift list on your site then you are more likely to be able to offer upgrades and additional services yourself. As the honeymooner starts to receive money towards their trip, they will want to add more items in case they run out of gifts for people to buy (yes this does happen – a lot).
In addition, SUP has been built for the travel industry and so it features a number of marketing “hooks” such as requesting email addresses from each friend and family that makes a contribution (all fully opted in).
Important tour operator questions:
1/ How do the travellers pay for their holiday?
The contract for the holiday is always between you and your clients. SendUsPacking do not sit between you. SendUsPacking is a service that sits alongside the transaction helping travellers to collect money for the holiday from friends and family.
2/ What if insufficient money is raised by the traveller?
The traveller is responsible for meeting the entire cost of the trip. SendUsPacking collects money that can be used to offset these costs but is not responsible for paying for the trip.
3/ What about deposits and final payments for honeymoons & holidays?
We understand that all operators require a deposit on booking and a final payment up to 8 weeks before the trip. SendUsPacking collects funds from friends and family for as long as the honeymooners wish to keep the list open. In our experience many contributions are made in the final run-up to the wedding (and even after it!) so the honeymooners can withdraw from their SendUsPacking account, as many times as necessary to pay you at the times you require. They can then withdraw a final payment (even after the honeymoon) to pay off credit card bills raised whilst away. If there are not enough funds in the SendUsPacking account to pay for the outstanding balance 8 weeks prior to the holiday then the honeymooners will have to pay as normal and then take funds from the SendUsPacking account as they become available.
4/ How do we know that SendUsPacking is a secure service for our clients?
At SendUsPacking we take the holding of client funds extremely seriously. All senior management have a financial services background with money held in Client Monies Accounts which we have no access to for day-to-day running of the business. In addition we adhere to the guidelines set out by the Office of Fair Trading with respect to “pre-pay” business models and we are in the process of recruiting non-executive directors from the Legal and Accounting professions to provide correct governance in the running of the business.
